China: 15 killed in tractor-truck accident
At least 15 people were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision between a tractor and a truck in northeastern China's Heilongjiang province on Saturday.
The accident took place in the morning in the city of Kitaihe
China's Ministry of Civil Security has sent a team to the city of Mitaihe to investigate the cause of the crash
The ministry has also directed the local administration to take serious note of the incident
Road accidents have become a common occurrence in this country as people are constantly violating traffic rules
Most of the accidents here are due to traffic violations
In April last year, 36 people were killed in a road accident in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu
